PURE MOVEMENT INTRODUCTORY COURSE

If you are looking to start bodyweight training and want to explore the fun and challenging world of calisthenics, this workshop will get you started. A 3-hour workshop where you will learn the basic foundation movements to help you get started in calisthenics.
How do I even start calisthenics? Is it just a case of doing more push ups, pull ups and planks? How will I ever get from a push up to handstands and even the frog to handstand? If you’re asking those questions and want to get over that first hurdle of where to start calisthenics, then stick with us.
We will focus on:
- Calisthenics Fundamentals
- Movement Foundations – Strength, Flexibility & Mobility
- Understanding Shoulder Health
- Pull Movements
- Push Movements
- Bodyweight Training
- Gymnastics Strength Training
- Functional Movement Exercises
- How to use bar apparatus
- How to use Gymnastic Rings apparatus
You will be taught the best and safe way to do all the exercises. We welcome everyone of all ages and fitness levels to attend. You will walk away from the workshop feeling the confidence to train anytime, anywhere – using just gravity and your own bodyweight!
